The Fossil WordPress theme provides an intuitive and user-friendly customizer interface that enables you to customize various aspects of your website. Below is a comprehensive guide to the available options:

Accessing the Customizer

To access these settings:

  1. Navigate to Appearance > Customize in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Use the sidebar options to make changes and preview them live.
  3. Click Publish to save your changes.

1. General Settings

  • Enable/Disable Preloader: Toggle to show or hide the loading animation while the website loads.
  • Title Image: You can upload your site title image using this image upload field.

2. Typography Settings

Body Typography

  • Font Family: Choose the font for the body content. The default is “Outfit.”
  • Font Size: Set the body font size (default: 16px).
  • Line Height: Adjust the line height for readability (default: 28px).

Header Typography

  • Font Family: Choose the font for headers (default: “Outfit”).
  • Font Weight: Set the header font weight (e.g., Bold).
  • Text Transform: Choose between uppercase, lowercase, or capitalize.

3. Theme Color Options

  • Primary Color: Select the primary theme color.
  • Secondary Color: Set the secondary theme color.

4. Header Settings

Header Top Settings

  • Show/Hide Header Top: Toggle visibility of the top header section.
  • Email Address: Display an email address in the top header.
  • Header Address: Add a physical address.
  • Header Slogan: Display a tagline or slogan.
  • Social Media Links: Add URLs for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Skype.

Main Header Settings

5. Blog Settings

Blog Page

  • Blog Style: Choose a display style, such as “Grid Style.”
  • Read More Text: Customize the “Read More” button text.
  • Show Post Meta: Toggle visibility of post metadata (e.g., date, author).

Single Blog Post

  • Layout Style: Choose between “No Sidebar” or other layout options.
  • Show Title Meta: Toggle the visibility of post title metadata.
  • Post Navigation: Enable/disable navigation between posts.
  • Comments Section: Show or hide comments on posts and pages.

6. Page Settings

  • Page Container: Choose between “Standard Container” or “Full-Width Container.”

7. Footer Settings

Top Footer

  • Show/Hide Top Footer: Toggle the top footer section visibility.
  • Newsletter Section: Enable or disable the newsletter subscription area.
  • Newsletter Title: Customize the subscription title.
  • Form Shortcode: Add a shortcode for newsletter forms.
  • Top Footer Template: Select or create an Eletemplate for the top footer.

Footer Text

  • Custom Text: Add or edit footer text. Supports HTML for links and formatting.
  • Footer Menu Display: Enable/disable the footer menu (menu must be set in Appearance > Menus).
